We ship almost every day.

Here is what has landed, dated.

Assistant

The assistant stops explaining our problems to you

When a request ran into a capacity limit on our side, the assistant used to write the infrastructure problem out as though it were an answer, and a stopped turn read like a refusal. It now says it could not finish, and stops.

Studio

Chat opens on your own footage

The empty state of the studio chat shows the takes already in the project instead of a blank box, so the first thing you see is your material rather than a prompt. The preview also moved into a column of its own, off the top of the conversation.

Studio

Uploads that stall come back

An upload stranded by a closed tab or a dead session is picked up again instead of sitting at nothing forever, and an upload that fails part-way now says so rather than failing quietly. An upload that finishes tells you it finished.

Clive

Clip your streams from inside the studio

Clive is reachable from the studio itself: point it at your channel and the clips it cuts land where the rest of your footage is, rather than in a second product you have to go and open.

Assistant

The assistant costs less to ask

A pass over the assistant’s own instructions took 1,016 tokens off every request it makes, and a second removed the parts its tools were already saying twice. Same behavior, less of your monthly allowance spent on overhead.

Collaboration

Voice in a project says when it fails

A huddle that could not start used to sit there looking like it was connecting. It now surfaces the failure, and the wait on the microphone permission is bounded rather than open-ended.

Collaboration

Sharing: project access, versions, links and review comments

Access is granted per project rather than per account, saved versions are listed and restorable, and a project can be published as a link somebody outside your workspace can open and comment on.

Studio

Edit from the transcript

One transcript reader across the app, and Insert straight from the asset inspector, so a line you found by reading goes onto the timeline without hunting for it again by eye.

Reliability

Uploads with mono or multichannel audio stopped crashing ingest

Any file whose audio was not plain stereo took the asset service down with it, which had been breaking uploads for three days. Fixed, and the service now survives the case rather than restarting into it.

Clive

Live captions get faster during a stream

Clive’s live speech recognition moved to a faster provider and is on by default, so the words a clip is chosen and captioned from arrive closer to the moment they were said.

Engine

Color wheels, curves, scopes and blend modes

A full primary grade on the real frame: lift, gamma and gain as a master and per channel, curves, and blend modes between layers. Not three filters with sliders: the instruments, computed on your graphics card.

Engine

A render now sounds like the tab did

Volume and pan automation, clip EQ and compression are applied by the render as well as by playback, and a master limiter with optional loudness normalization sits at the end of it. What you mixed is what comes out.

Rendering

Renders never leave the graphics card

The render path decodes, paints and encodes on the GPU without copying frames back to the processor in between, and the render machines run three exports at once instead of one. The wait after you press export got shorter.

Engine

Color is computed in float, and dithered on the way out

The engine works in 16-bit floating point in linear light and applies looks in display space, then dithers down to what your screen shows. This is the step that stops a graded sky arriving in bands.

This log starts in July 2026, which is when we started keeping one, not when we started building. Everything before it is in the product rather than on this page.

The next entry is being written now.
