Ask Skeet for a change

A first pass on request

Say what the update is about and the assistant assembles a draft from your footage.

Find it by description

Type what you remember about a demo take. It comes back as frames, not filenames.

Captions in the editor

Write them, style them and fix the word it heard wrong, on the timeline.

Nothing to install

A browser tab on whichever laptop you opened, including the one on the road.

An evening, not a weekend.

Say what the update is about and a first pass waits. A draft, not a delivery.

Not built yet

It does not watch you work.

The build-in-public pitch invites a lot of magic that we have not built. Here is where the product actually starts and stops.

Your repo
Nothing reads your commits, issues or releases. There is no GitHub app and no webhook to point at us.
Screen capture
We do not record your screen. Capture happens on your machine, the same as any other footage, and you upload the file.
Posting
No scheduler and no cross-posting from the editor. You export the finished cut and put it up yourself.

One editor, open in a browser tab.

Your footage in it, and everyone you invite.

The Skeet studio open on a nature film: the project bin down the left full of clips and audio, a green field of seed heads held on the monitor, a cut on the timeline under it with two shots on the video lane, an ambience track, and a grade applied over both, and the assistant in the right-hand rail working out what "captions" should mean for footage with no dialogue in it.

Bring your own footage.
