Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Skeet. Please read them. By using Skeet you agree to them. If anything is unclear, write to legal@skeet.now.

01.Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Skeet platform, including the marketing site at skeet.now, the Agentic Editor at app.skeet.now, and the clive live-clipping product at clive.skeet.now (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

02.Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. If you use Skeet on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

03.Your account

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the activity of anyone you share access with. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

One person or organisation may not maintain multiple accounts to evade limits, bans, or trial restrictions.

04.What Skeet provides

Skeet is a creative studio with an AI-augmented editing layer. You upload media, the agent helps you scout footage, build sequences, refine cuts, and export. Some features may rely on third-party AI model providers that operate independently of us.

The AI features are probabilistic and not perfect. We do not guarantee any particular result, the accuracy of generated captions or transcripts, or the fitness of agent-produced edits for your purpose. Always review outputs before relying on them.

05.Your Content

You retain ownership of the media, projects, and edits you create on Skeet (collectively, “Your Content”). You grant Skeet a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transcode, analyse, transmit, and display Your Content strictly to provide and improve the Service for you and the collaborators you authorise.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and use the content you bring to Skeet, including any music, licensed footage, talent appearances, or other third-party material. See the Acceptable Use Policy for content restrictions and the DMCA process.

06.Third-party services

When you connect a third-party service (Google sign-in, YouTube upload, future TikTok and Instagram integrations, etc.), your use of that service is governed by its own terms. You are responsible for complying with them. We are not affiliated with these third parties and are not responsible for their conduct.

07.Fees, subscriptions, refunds

Some Skeet features are available only on paid plans. Current pricing is shown at skeet.now/pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel from your account dashboard at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. We may change our pricing, the features included in a plan, and the credit allotments a plan grants, on at least 30 days’ notice. Any such change takes effect at your next renewal and does not affect your current billing period. If you do not agree to a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.

08.Credits

Paid plans and certain purchases grant credits, which are consumed as you use the Service, for example for AI-assisted editing and rendering, or while clive watches your stream. One credit corresponds to a unit of usage described at skeet.now/pricing. We may adjust the number of credits a plan grants, and the rate at which features consume credits, on at least 30 days’ notice, effective at your next renewal.

Credits included with a subscription refresh to your plan’s allotment at the start of each billing period and do not stack from one period to the next. Credits you buy separately as a top-up do not expire while your account remains in good standing. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money except where required by law. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable.

Free or promotional credits are provided at our discretion, may be limited in amount or duration, and may be modified or discontinued for future grants at any time. When your credit balance reaches zero, credit-metered features stop until you upgrade, top up, or your next subscription period begins.

09.Beta features

Skeet is currently in beta. Beta features may change, malfunction, or be removed without notice. They are provided “as is” and are not subject to any service-level commitment.

10.Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if your use poses a security or legal risk, or if we cease offering the Service. On termination, your right to access the Service ends; Sections covering Your Content licences (only for content published outside Skeet), Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution survive.

11.Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, that defects will be corrected, or that AI-generated outputs will be of any particular quality or accuracy.

12.Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Skeet, its affiliates, or its personnel be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) US$100.

13.Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Skeet, its affiliates, and its personnel from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the Service, (c) your violation of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or (d) your violation of any third-party right.

14.Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration. Where permitted by law, any dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration; you and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action.

15.Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 14 days’ notice via email or in-product before the new Terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
