Sub-processors

A sub-processor is a third party that processes personal data on our behalf in order to deliver part of the Skeet platform. We keep the list short on purpose, and each provider receives only the data strictly necessary for its function.

This page covers the Skeet platform at skeet.now, the Agentic Editor at app.skeet.now, and the clive live-clipping product. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

• Amazon Web Services (United States). Application hosting, S3 object storage for uploaded and rendered media, ECS compute for processing workers, and CloudFront for delivery. AWS holds the majority of customer content.

These providers receive media you upload, or derived data such as audio tracks and extracted frames, in order to perform analysis and generation you have asked for.

• Google (Gemini API, Cloud Vision). Multimodal reasoning, scene and content analysis, captioning, and the editing agent.
• Groq. Speech-to-text transcription of audio tracks, including live speech-to-text during clive stream sessions.
• fal.ai. Generative video clips, where you explicitly request generation.

• Stripe. Subscription and one-time payment processing.

We never receive or store full card numbers. Card data goes directly to the processor, and we retain only a tokenised reference.

• Resend. Transactional email such as sign-in links, receipts, and render notifications.
• Tawk.to. In-product support chat. Receives the messages you send us and basic session context.

• Sentry. Error and crash telemetry. Payloads are scrubbed and aggregated before they leave our systems.
• PostHog. Product analytics, used to understand feature usage and funnel behavior.
• Pusher. Realtime message delivery for live progress and collaboration events.

Two categories are worth naming explicitly, because they are easy to mistake for sub-processors.

• Self-hosted components. Our authentication layer runs on BetterAuth, which is an open-source library we operate ourselves. Your credentials and sessions are handled inside our own infrastructure and are not sent to a third party.
• Stock media sources. Pexels, Pixabay, and Freesound supply licensed media into the editor. Data flows from them to us, not the other way around, and they do not process your personal data on our behalf.

We update this page when we add or remove a sub-processor, and we revise the “Last updated” date accordingly. Customers on a written Data Processing Agreement can request advance notice of changes by writing to the address below.
